A few weeks ago, while researching and creating a Personalized Learning Plan, I ran across some resources that I feel would be great interest to others out there who identify themselves as Lifelong Learners.
One of the best, which consolidates many other links to open learning sites, is the No Excuse List. This site has many free learning resources organized according to subject or area of interest. It also has links to online college courses offered through Saylor University as well as Harvard and MIT (all free courses, most are not for college credit, however).
Another site of interest is Edupunksguide's Atlas of Open Learning Opportunities which provides a very visual and dynamic way of viewing and searching for the best matches in open learning for you.
Here is a list of a variety of resources, mostly related to coding, entrepreneurship, and funding for various endeavors of the independent learner/businessperson, from UnCollege.
Finally, I would like to direct you to P2P University, an online community for learning and teaching among members that is completely free to join and use.
These are just a few of the many sites that offer great information and links to other resources. In fact, the internet provides a vast array of information in general if we just know how to think critically about web pages.
